Cranberry cream. Boil them and get all the juice out. Stir in sugar and Manna (semolina flour if I'm not mistaken, get it from Russian store or online). Boil it til manna is all soft and consistency of a porridge. Let it cool. Once it's all cold, whip it into cream. Eat it with milk.
Very interesting- is this a Russian dish?
Sounded interesting to me too. Apparently, it’s a Latvian dessert, more like a mousse than a cream or a pudding. Manna is apparently cream of wheat, but when it gets whipped with sugar and cranberry juice, the gluten strands hold the air, creating a fluffy texture. I hate cream of wheat, mostly because as a hot cereal it’s so stodgy. Would have never thought to do this, so I might just give it a go. Look up pictures for ‘debesmanna‘.
