I’m a lawyer without tattoos and I see plenty of tattoos on coworkers, attorneys and support staff. I don’t think it’s a big deal anymore and there’s not really a need to make sure they can be covered in professional settings. When it comes up, the people I know do not seem to regret their tattoos.
It’s 2022. More people than you think have tattoos these days. It could be hidden on their arms if you mostly see them in long sleeves, or on their legs if you mostly see them in pants. It could be on their wrists or necks and you never really noticed. There isn’t a negative perception by most people unless theyare old. Even then, older professionals/execs have to look past visible tattoos as companies usually can’t discriminate against a person having them.
