Just some advice on breast feeding and using a baby nurse. If you really want to get the most out of having a night nurse (i.e. getting a good night's sleep) here's what to do (this is what I did anyway). Ideally pump here and there during the day to start to build up a breast milk stash, though this may be impossible with twins: Pump right before you go to sleep and stash the milk in the fridge don't get up until morning; If you need to pump because you don't have enough breast milk stored or your boobs are aching, do the following: Before you go to bed set up your pump in your bedroom (or even better in your bathroom if you have a master suite) so its 100% ready to go; Fill a basin or sink with water and a touch of dish soap. Have a cooler with freezer packs next to your pump. When you get up, pump with low lighting so you don't "fully" wake up; Dump pump parts in soapy water; Stash pumped milk in cooler; Get back to bed asap and deal with everything in the morning. If you need to get up more than once in the night to pump, make sure you have enough storage bottles or bags to take care of everything with out having to roam around too much. The idea is to try not to disturb your sleep any more than necessary. I know I'll be criticized, but if you really want to get some good sleep and you don't have enough milk on hand to sleep through the night, supplement with formula. YOur babies will still get the benefit of breastmilk since it will be the majority of their diet and you'll get some much needed sleep.
