In fact, the AAP teachers seem to know how to capitalize on her strengths in a way that her base school did not. She had a GBRS of 12, but I really think her teachers thought she was stupid. She was a very "average" student. She has done so much better in AAP. I shudder to think how this would have gone her her had she stayed in the base school.

Thanks for your advice, need some moral support to go ahead for WISC etc. Still wondering if a high WISC could overcome a very low GBRS.
