But as someone who married young, I also think there is huge value in growing up together and starting your marriage while you are still both flexible and not set in your ways and while your expectations for life are simpler. I don’t think I would have picked better at 30–my friends who married in their late 30s don’t seem any happier than we are. They were richer when they had their first kid, but that just brings different stressors. [/quote]
