My daughter was told by their coach after try outs on Sunday she was the first on their waitlist for PW and that as soon as one of the first 12 declined their offer she would be next. We never got a call. And now they're still looking for girls for their team? What BS![/quote]

The rules are that families have until tomorrow night at 10 PM before offers expire (for 15s & up). Sometimes families sit on those while they wait for the one that THEY want, on top of the chaotic numbers this weekend. It's a possibility, at least.[/quote]

I understand that, but how can Metro advertise that they still have room and are still looking for players, when my daughter was told by the coach after try outs on Saturday (I meant Saturday, not Sunday) that she was #1 on the waitlist, that we would hear from someone by Sunday night? It doesn't make sense, unless she flat out lied to us. I just wish these people would be honest, instead she made my daughter think she had a real chance. Just tell us it's a no and don't lead these girls on. Advertising that they still have room is cruel. [/quote]
