Move to MD or get a job at a universiry.
FYI Maryland IVF coverage is based on where your employer is, not where you live. So get an employer HQ’d in MD and continue to live wherever you want.
False.
I work in DC but live in MD. My DC company did not have IVF coverage, so I instead got my own health insurance through the state of MD. It was a lot pricier per month by getting the insurance on my own but overall saved me thousands on the cost of IVF and meds. On a side note, it is currently open enrollment in MD. My husband recently got a remote job from a company based out of Illinois. Since that state has IVF coverage laws and even though I don’t live in that state, we have IVF coverage through his company. Here is a link with more information on states with fertility coverage: https://resolve.org/learn/financial-resources-for-family-building/insurance-coverage/insurance-coverage-by-state/
Could you elaborate more on which Maryland insurance plan you've got on their exchange? I tried to call their representatives and they were not familiar with specific plans terms and conditions
