I've found Vudu useful for getting single episodes of specific, older sitcoms and other shows, where I wanted just one episode here or two there, to see a specific actor. Very useful to be able to purchase by the episode and then they're on my Vudu account and I can see them any time I want. They also have movies to rent or purchase. Prices can vary from next to nothing to too expensive, but have a look. I find a lot of folks just haven't heard of it, possibly because it's not a subscription streamer like the best-known ones.
