RSV has been around and scary to parents for a long time. I understand it's back now when it was not circulating as much for a couple years. But deep breaths that this is a normal virus that the medical community has a lot of experience dealing with. Pre-covid, we used to think about it. Almost all children will get RSV before two and for most of them it's just a cold. My thoughts from two kids born in early winter many moons ago: -Don't bring the baby out to crowded public places. Just don't. Pretty easy to avoid. -Ask visitors to wash hands etc. Obviously no one who has a cold should be around your baby. -Do not limit older kid activities. Not fair to the older kids. Do make sure your older kids are hand washing and if they get a cold, keep them away from baby. -If your baby gets sick, listen to your mom gut and don't be afraid to take to a ped or ER if you're concerned. Everything will be ok.
