Walking is far more effective for weight loss because it doesn't incentivize the same hunger (there's something science-y behind it!) So he always says to walk the same distance you would run (same calories, but obviously takes a lot longer). You don't get the same cardiovascular benefits, but it's superior for weight loss.[/quote]
