Why are you set on using plastic bags?
They are more convenient. I am not interested in bringing in a reusable bag. Those are health hazards, and I wonder if they contributed to the illnesses that have going around.
How are reusable bag health hazards? Most sickness don’t spread thru reusable bags.
It is not required for most sickness to spread a certain way for something to be a health hazard. Many locations that had gotten rid of plastic bags brought them back to reduce spread of covid. People are not regularly cleaning these reusable bags.
Good point, people put those reusable bags on the floor of their house, elevator, trunk. Then the bag often goes on the end of the conveyor belt at checkout while packing up the food that is at the end of the conveyor belt. I have some germaphobic tendencies. But this is true. All the food at the end of the conveyor is indirectly touching the floor of someones house, bus floor, metro floor, etc I mostly shop at Costco and sams club for this reason and use self checkout. No one bringing their disgusting bags to those stores. Also, the employees don’t even touch the food to put on the shelf. Much cleaner.
