Right so much better to wring our hands and say “How could this happen? Poor Takeoff. What an unfortunate event.” Instead of addressing the fact that there are so many people running around with guns, undisciplined and untrained such that these things happen all.the.time. Young people should know that you shouldn’t be friends with a knucklehead who has a gun that he carries to a bowling alley. Without the gun this is just a disagreement and a fist fight. There are so many damn people being shot minding their own business, children, that I don’t have time for a grown man who had every privilege and opportunity to not being making the choices he made. [/quote]I'm the person you quoted and I don't disagree with any of this.  I'm for education and solutions.  I'm for advocating and choosing politicians that support useful policies. I'm for grassroots effort, I'm for it all.  But this is not what the other poster did (or are you the other poster).  That other post was basically, oh well, you shouldn't hang around people with guns.  That's no more helpful than what you said,  “How could this happen? Poor Takeoff.
