I am a Democrat for Sully. I don’t think he’s misrepresenting himself. He was involved in many primary debates along with the Democratic candidates and it was explicitly stated (and I thought understood) that he was the leading Republican candidate.
You don’t think that a poster for a Republican candidate should mention that he’s a Republican candidate —when the word DEMOCRATS is highlighted in campaign materials? My point is that it was not “explicitly stated” on the poster that he was the leading Republican candidate, and, at least on publicly displayed campaign materials, assuming that something is “understood” by anyone who sees it is inappropriate at best and possibly deliberately deceiving. To be clear, I would be just as concerned if the parties were reversed, or different altogether.
You're grasping at straws. Anyone who has been paying even the smallest bit of attention either knows that he's the R candidate, or knows that he's NOT the D candidate. As a PP said, if you're confused about if Elrich is the Republican or Dem candidate, or if Sully is the R or D, then you should probably sit this one out
