So I did find a quote where he claimed MS-13 was “taking over” Gaithersburg. Maybe that’s what the pp keeps referencing. (To be fair there has been quite a bit of reportedly MS-13 related crime in Gaithersburg). [/quote]

You’re the one who exaggerated the claim you made against him. Please cite where he said MS-13 was “taking over the county”.  Oh right, that’s not what he said. Also, did you have conversations with the Asbury residents?  How do you know that none of them expressed a fear of rising crime to him?[/quote]

It's gated and fenced.  They'll walk outdoors inside their protected community, but don't feel safe leaving.
