OP I agree. But a little dramatic to use word victim, I just want this to disappear.

When reported my insurance told him no one by that name on policy. Which means he will still get paid eventually. Just easier if I pay as less drama.

He also keeps playing the my rates will go up. But day he called I got tagged and my policy was about to renew and got hit with a $1,000
a year hike in insurance!! Over a $1,000 parking lot ding with no pay out

Which is why I switched insurance and still got a $500 hike.

Final kicker that makes no sense he gets tagged on car fax with a car accident on vehicle. And some insurance adds not at fault accidents into insurance calculation. He is also risking Higher rates plus a second car fax accident on his car by using insurance.

My kid one more accident I am pulling off my policy and taking back car.

How minor is this. Some foreign small suvs have this cheap black plastic thing around wheel. It is that thing. Hence zero damage my car. We are not talking a big thing. But you do need to replace and a few scuffs. Honestly, I had same thing my car years ago bought plastic part off eBay and fixed my self, except in my case the person who hit my parked car did not leave a note or ring my bell as car in front of my house.
