Me: blank stare with ZERO recollection of what the man is saying.

Dad: “I’m surprised you don’t remember, what with it being so important that you just stayed in the altogether when you got out of bed.”

No alcohol or stairs were involved (the house is all one floor). Two things I’m thankful for: that my mother wasn’t also awake to be traumatized by the sight of her young adult son wandering around naked in a trance, and that my father was decent enough never to bring it up again.  This would have been around 1999, and I lived to tell about it and have never sleepwalked again as far as I know.
