I wish there was a more strategic manner this could have been done. But DCPS was wasting a lot of money keeping schools that were at 25 or 30% capacity open. By closing schools they were able to consolidate resource use. The rest of what she did was all about her - and absolutely a power trip. Her resume was an aggressive interpretation of facts - and she really did not understand how long term the items she put in were going to play out. [/quote]
