There was an online forum for both of them last week. Sponsored by the Wilson Feeder Education Network (W3EdNet) Notifications went out to Deal parents. I don't know about other Ward 3 DCPS schools. I watched the forum and my takeaway is this: I'm voting for Sriqui. Goulet was more poised and eloquent (or slicker depending on your point of view) but I liked what Sriqui said better, even if he didn't say it as well. Goulet talked about all these ideas for the Whittle school property, which seemed really unlikely.
I don't think Goulet understand that under DC Law, DC public school facilities need to be owned, not leased.
Poster you quoted here - the law was repeatedly restated to him during the debate by Sriqui and he never had a good response to it. It was annoying to say the least. As for Sriqui touting the WTU endorsement, Goulet was endorsed by the Washington Post for this election and I'm going to assume Sriqui is promoting all endorsements just so it doesn't seem like Goulet has them all.
