So basically, the Cleveland Park "neighbors" organized specifically to keep out the Jewish school (which likely would have had a smaller footprint) and instead struck a deal with a developer to buy the land and build luxury homes, in return for a much smaller public access park.

Not exactly NIMBY, but not exactly a good look for Cleveland Park "neighbors" either. [/quote]
