I am happy about the weight loss and health benefits, but I definitely would not want to take this med continuously for years and years: it takes away the joy of food! I mean: I've never been a binge eater and have always eaten healthily, but under normal circumstance I love food. I like going to the grocery store and thinking about things to cook; I like cooking; I like eating and sharing the pleasures of a good meal with others. Now I don't have that. It's sort of like waking up one day and no longer enjoying any music.

I like the idea of reverting to the lowest effective dose and maybe alternating weeks, or even months. I don't mind some periods in which I don't have an appetite, but I actually want food to be a pleasure at least sometimes![/quote]
