I’m the poster who provided the links to the Cooper and Langley web pages with information about the world languages program (we’re actually at McLean but looked at and am familiar with both schools).

You can find out a fair amount about McLean - both the good and the bad - by scanning past issues of the school newspaper at https://issuu.com/the_highlander

Langley also has a student newspaper, but it does not consistently post past editions online to my knowledge. However, if you have specific questions, I’d think someone could try and answer them for you here. [/quote]

I am the original poster.  Thank you so much.  Your information was really helpful as well as this post.  I will look into both McLean and Langely.  Of course, not only foreign language will be a factor to decide where to live but I would like to listen to my kid's preferences too because school will be a big part of their life.  I still have 2 years for her to get into high school so I will prepare.
