ANCs have historically been the back waters of politics.  People only paid attention when they needed a curb cut or building permit.  There was no reason to pay attention otherwise.  During the pandemic the ANCs were co-opted by progressive activists who somehow think they have a mandate for major social change. It’s bizarre.  [/quote]
