[/quote] I've talked about this to my sister-in-law who's a pediatrician and according to her that switch really only goes one way. She said she sees a lot of girls for the first time when they're 10 or 11 and they wanted to switch to a female doctor, but she rarely ever loses male patients. I think boys and girls are generally just different in that regard. Girls tend to be more modest while boys are a lot less likely to care. Plus, as a few of the previous replies have mentioned, a lot of boys actually prefer to have a woman doing intimate exams.[/quote]
