Is it affordable? I guess that depends on the person. Their condo is large, all on one level, and had already had a lot of accessibility-related renovations. There is a private garage but it's fairly small. Lots of other older/empty nest folks nearby and two assisted living/rehab places in the area so they can move if they ever need to. Maryland isn't the best place to retire or die for tax purposes so they sometimes talk about moving to VA, PA, or WV, but the taxes pay for a lot of services and supports they are enjoying. [/quote]
