Coconut oil went through some kind of trendy phase a few years back where it was touted as a healthy oil, and while it's tasty, it's actually pretty bad for you so the tides turned on that. And I agree with the PP who avoids many vegan cheeses because of their ingredients. I personally loathe them because they are usually pretty gross and not actually good for you (full of coconut fats). I eat plant-based the vast majority of the time, but cheese is one thing where I eat the dairy version, just eat it very sparingly.[/quote]
