No dog in this fight but I wouldn’t say things have changed. Hardy has become acceptable for IB parents and that’s great. We need more high performing or middle performing middle schools. Dare I say we now have “Alice Deal for all WOTP” which included access for some EOTP. Wells is moving along quite well IMO. However, all things said and done, most people in the District would still choose Deal over Hardy. [/quote]

We are actually in the position of choosing Deal or Hardy for our kids. (We moved and ended up switching from being IB in one to IB for the other. We can stay or enroll in the new school. We think kids would do fine at either and have some friends at both.) We are choosing Hardy for a lot of the reasons stated. We really liked what we see there. We are cautious but intrigued by the new high school. We'll see how that goes. [/quote]
