For coffee break - cookies and some via coffee satchets. Warm water and milk in electric kettle.

Pack fruits like bananas and tangerines.  We like to buy fast food also - mainly fries, chicken nuggets and onion rings to go with the tea or coffee break.

Nope. This is quite common for people from my culture. We have been raised with good food and we cannot subsist for long on "unhappy meals".   Also, I am assuming that you will at least stop 3 or 4 times on a 12 hour road trip? But, do what works for you.  This is  how we  travel, unless it is a multi-day road trip. [/quote]
