I’ve had to miss because of different kids BTSN on same day so DH and I split. He went to younger child (friendlier school by far) and I wrote teachers to let them know if my conflict and give a heads up that I might reach out soon if I had any questions after getting DH summary.
Seriously! You sound over the top.
How is this over the top? BTSN is very useful at our younger child's school and we know the teachers at that school well because older child went there. No teacher thought it was weird for me to give them a heads up. Furthermore, I didn't end up needing to reach out after BTSN so I do not see how this is over the top? DH came back saying "x" teacher or "y" teacher says hi - or told me to tell you they were excited to have "younger dc" in their class.
