However I thought there was definitely some sense that AAP isn’t truly a program limited to “gifted” children in the sense of the description relating to neurodiversity and all the other factors, ie asynchronous development etc, that can go along with it. Given the size of the program my understanding was it also encompasses many bright, well-performing children that may not meet the traditional criteria associated with the gifted label. [/quote]
