I did not blame President Obama for Rosen's statements. I just said that if you are inclined to vote for him and if you agree with Rosen, then you will defend her. Reread my post and you will see I am correct and that you are mischaracterizing my statements. I resent that you believe that your opinions are the final word on what women want. You lack any respect for democracy because you believe you are right and that the voice of the people as expressed through voting is unnecessary because you have it all figured out. I am a woman, a lawyer, a mother, a volunteer with disabled and children, an abortion veteran and thus pro-choice, and a Republican. Don't dare to pretend that you can speak for me. You are arrogant and self-centered and I thank God (that I do believe in) that we live in the USA where people like you only get one vote. I know that if we didn't have as strong a government as we do, you and your kind wouldn't think twice about taking away my vote because you believe to your core that you know better than me.
NP here. My first reaction to your response post here is "huh"? What are you talking about? "You and your kind" taking away "my vote"? Where exactly are you getting this stuff from? And so what if a Democrat is more inclined to be sympathetic to Rosen. You - as a Republican - are more inclined to be sympathetic it Romney. But what does that have to do with anything? Of course Democrats are more sympathetic to liberal viewpoints. Duh...what do you think makes us Dems? The irony is that YOUR post also comes across as arrogant. You don't get to speak for us either, but guess what? Neither does Ann Romney. OR Rosen, which is partly the point, isn't it? Rosen doesn't speak for Obama or working women or anybody. She is a paid consultant who appears on CNN...that's all. Personally, Mitt can use his wife as his "economic policy advisor" all he wants. It will just help him alienate himself from average America all the more and lose the Presidency. I wholeheartedly believe that Ann Romney has "worked" - she has raised 5 children. That is work. Period. But that doesn't mean she understands anything about the struggles working women face, and pretending that she does is laughable. Perhaps she is self-aware enough to be able to empathize with working women, but I think it is foolish to try to paint her as an expert on issues facing working women...
