Throgh my googling it also seems like it can be hard to come off this med. My 17-year-old has been prescribed this for migraine prevention and we are supposed to start it today. His dosage (to start) is pretty small; he is to take half of a 25mg pill and we are to increase if necessary going u to a max of (3) 25mg pills. His doctor said realistically he'll probably need to be on a dosage of 2 pills for this to be effective for him. I've googled and it seems many people are on this long-term and are very happy with it but there are also lots of stories of people trying to wean off of it (seems most of those people take it for sleep issues). Wondering if anyone else can share their experiences. [/quote]
