This is exactly what the EU did yesterday.  Reduced availability of visas from Russians and raised the costs.  US should do the same to Russia, Belarus and Serbia.  [b]All 3 of those countries are truly terrible run by evil people.[/b][/quote]

Can you think of other countries that can be described the same way?  We tend to treat people leaving these countries as refugees, even if we are at war or have tense relationships with them.  Would miraculously escaped North Koreans be banned? Would we ban Afganis from seeking refuge in our country?  What about other places like Mexico where are fighting a de-facto war with cartels flooding our country with deadly fentanyl  and engaging in smuggling of people (human trafficking), weapons and criminals into our country? we are welcoming them with open arms at our open Southern Border, and no vetting is happening there.
