I am not interested in sowing ill will with them or making grand gestures or highlighting any income disparities as previous posters have indicated. The reason why this concerns me is that once another relative thought that I had purchased something expensive for their mother and was ticked off about it. It turned out that another person who knew their mother who happened to have the same first name as me did it. Since that incident, I want to be careful about overstepping. [/quote]
