Mostly TJ and we eat a lot of fruits and veggies. There quality is great for a lot of basics items and the produce they seasonally stock is excellent. Just bought a giant container of fresh figs there. Costco sometimes- it really depends. Occasionally a regular grocery store if I’m wanting a giant bunch of parsley or herbs or something
Surprised to read this. Produce is considered a low point for TJ by most reviewers. I only buy bagged salads after slimy mushrooms, mushy apples etc.
I don’t find this true at all. They have the best apples- stocked more frequently than any other store with cosmic crisps. You can buy large boxes of peaches and nectarines in season, huge stalks of brussell sprouts, large containers of berries, asparagus, whole watermelons, squashes in season…I have zero issues with any produce we buy and we are a family of 5 that eats a ton of produce. The only thing I buy bagged is wild arugula and baby spinach. I don’t buy the pre chopped/prepped stuff or bagged salad mixes.
