Whether the poster cherry picked or not, I don’t think it is true. The top 7 schools from Cap Blue are no doubt more impressive than the top 7 from Pride.
The Capital list is more impressive than Pride period whatever way you spin it. Someone is hitting the sauce here early trying to put a positive spin on Pride's poor record. Below are the Pride commit schools that have been listed. While the D3 list is solid, whatever you think of them none of the D1 schools they committed to made the NCAA tourney last year. By comparison, Capital Blue has 9 girls committed to schools that made the tourney last year, not to mention a number of Ivy's and other solid schools. D1 Army D1 Army D1 Old Dominion D1 Richmond D3 Christopher Newport D1 Temple D1 Arizona State D3 York D3 York D3 Colby D3 Colby D3 Middlebury D1 South Florida D3 Washington & Lee D1 Lehigh D1 UNC-Charlotte D3 Bates
The statement was simply that Pride's 2023 class, on average, committed to higher ranked lacrosse programs. Not academic schools, lacrosse programs. Not the sauce, just a fun fact. Just as you noted 9 players who committed to teams who played in the NCAA tournament. A fun fact. It was clearly stated Pride's commit list was small. It was also clearly stated Capital Blue will most likely have a strong recruiting class. It was impressive to see how organized CLC was with the 2023s. It was also clearly stated Pride is a big question mark going into the 2024 class. Which the original question was about predicting how the 2024 class will do. The response included comments on CLC, Pride and VA Metro. Not singling out any one club. Compliments paid to the high volume and academic schools by CLC, to the Pride players who committed D1, and to some top schools VA Metro players committed to, plus an interesting commit to a new D1 program.
