My understanding is that ANY 8th grader can tryout if the Sport is not offered in MS not just those held back.

Homeschoolers are NOT enrolled in Public schools.

In my book (which means nothing to FCPS) a public school 8th grader isn’t enrolled in the public high school and should not be part of that high school community. Doesn’t matter if they are in the high school’s pyramid.

Internally MS kids do belong to their HS pyramid. Same system. No need to register/re-enroll separately for HS once they finish MS. So yes, they are enrolled with the public school system!

When my kids moved to HS from MS I didn't have to do anything besides checking off 'yes' on the form I received.

My kids are active in sports, Club and School, and those entitled parents with their kids are everywhere. I so despise them too!
