We live in 22207 and 2/3 of the families around us go private so 3 kindergartens sounds about right, and after last years drama I'm not surprised a whole class left which is why 1st is down ~26 students.[/quote]

Sorry I meant last years 1st grade — this years 2nd grade. Usually by the time you hit 3rd it’s much harder to switch/find opening.

But there’s a cap on class sizes. It just depends on how the total per grade breaks out. At ASFS they mixed 1st/2nd as well to balance classes.
