I’m PP and making assumptions here - but maybe the friend that died was a huge source of support for her. Article says she wanted the pregnancy previously - perhaps in her grief she feels she can’t do this without her friend. Especially without the father involved. That’s understandable. The judge just wants to her to pause because it sounds like there is a lot of turmoil in this poor girls life. A baby will make it worse, no doubt, but I get wanting to give her time to make sure it’s what she wants to do. There are no takebacks. [/quote]
