You're still missing the point.  It's NOT about popularity, quality, outcomes, brand awareness, etc.  It's about whether someone "trusts" a university, which is completely subjective and not based on data or facts.  And the poll included right wing Republicans and of course they highly distrust Harvard, UC Berkeley, etc.  JHU probably comes out so well because people, conservative and liberal, are impressed by it's great medical research and the fame of its hospital.[/quote]
