I think there's some rule about how long that person was a "dependent".

Airlines should now be able to charge pregnant women as "two persons", same for any public transportation.  You should be forced to buy two bus tickets.

For one.  So as some other posters are saying, if someone is pregnant with multiples would only the first be free? You can only have one lap child per person.  [/quote]

Yep.  Also if a woman is pregnant and also has a child under 2, she can't claim that child as a "lap baby" if she is already claiming the child in utero.   But...I'm strongly against "lap babies" (the already born ones) anyway...so if this can be used to get rid of that, I'm all for it.[/quote]
