[/quote] Different diets are going to be sustainable for different people, so it’s not you, it’s that the diet is wrong for you. I lost weight by quitting alcohol entirely, having just one or two servings of simple carbs a day, and I tried to eat carbs with a good amount of fiber, protein, and fat so that I didn’t get hungry. I focus way more on protein than fats. I believe that when my calories aren’t in the form of foods that I can see and chew, they don’t satisfy me mentally as much. So 200 calories of cashew butter is not going to fill me up as much as 200 calories if chicken. So what you’re saying about fats resonates with me since fats except for avocados are usually so liquidy. [/quote]
