On a per-capita basis, Republican-run municipalities like Jacksonville FL are often even worse than Democrat-run ones. Why? Because for all of the empty talk about being tough on crime, Republicans don't believe in taxes and thus don't have the revenue to provide services that reduce crime.[/quote]
