She doesn’t owe Kelis anything. Unfortunately, Kelis is in a situation many, many artists find themselves in. She doesn’t own and doesn’t get any credit for her early, most successful music. Her energy would be better spent mentoring other artists to help them avoid the same fate. Kelis is upset with Kelis, and with Pharrell and Chad. Beyoncé is collateral damage here.

She’s knows legally they owe her a damn thing, she just wanted a phone call. It’s the right thing to do.  She knows Bey, they run in the same circles. Even if an agent or a manager called, it’s the barest minimum they could do. It’s the right thing to do. [/quote]
