There is no basis for saying she plans to discuss independence. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States of America which has a say in what occurs on that island. Taiwan is not and never has been part of the so-called People's Republic of China. Taiwan decides who visits and who does not. Not Beijing. Does the Chinese embassy on CT Ave issue visas to Taiwan?
