OP again. I eat in a week - beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, cheese, high protein milk, low sugar/high protein yogurt, cottage cheese, lo carb/high fiber beads and tortillas, almond butter and other nuts, all kinds of leafy greens, and low carb veggies like mushrooms, summer squash, asparagus, brussels sprouts, broc, cauliflower, tomatoes, cukes, avocado, onions, peppers, etc. I take a multivitamin. I do restrict food - no bread, rice, grains, beans, pasta, mashed potatoes, sugar, crackers, cake or cookies or candy or stuff made from flour. I feel like I have a pretty varied diet with what’s left? I also honestly don’t feel hungry, particularly if I am eating enough protein.
Why no beans? They are a great source of calcium and you could eat those instead of consuming so much diary. That is a LOT of diary. Nuts are healthy but extremely high in calories and bad if roasted in oil and covered in salt. All your veggies sound great though. What about alcohol?
TBH, I never liked beans but always loved dairy. As a protein source, beans are not great a great trade off when compared to just eating meat because they come with a lot of carbs. As a fiber source - also not great when compared with the low carb high fiber tortillas I eat. I never eat roasted nuts - just plain. No/rare alcohol - never been a big drinker, so this is not really a change for me. Yes, I know dairy and meat are higher fat than beans, but I am less concerned with cholesterol at the moment rather than just getting the weight off.
