I am routine, H is go with the flow. My experience: I am stressed AF all of the time, while H is cool as a cucumber because he knows I’ll handle it. I also spend a lot of time yelling at him for sleeping in and forgetting to do things.
Alternately, you are stressed AF all the time and DH is cool as a cucumber because he knows much of what you are agonizing about can’t be changed fixed with extra anxiety.
Getting the kids to school on time, caring for the dog, getting to work on time, saving for retirement, feeding the baby…all pretty important things, yea?
Yes those are all important things, OP. The baby's not going to starve, the dog will get walked, retirement savings can be automatic, everyone will get to work and school on time. Running around screaming your head off about everything will not make things run like the well-oiled machine you think it will. Calm down.
I’m jealous. I have ADD and live by my plans and schedules. They are the only thing that keep me from running around screaming my head off because “we are already late, and WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN’T FIND YOUR SHOES??” How does everyone get to work and school on time and get the baby fed and the dog walked without any kind of a plan?
