I wanted to “want” a Gladiator soooo bad. A Mojave, specifically. God do I love the way they look. But I just couldn’t make one work for us. It’s just too small inside, and there’s four of us. That leaves ALL our cargo in the bed (and in the elements) on any trip or trail ride, unless two of us stay home. Yeah, yeah, I know they make tonoue covers and even bed caps, but it’s still too small inside.

The thing that ultimately made me go with another Unlimited was on solo/duo weekend trail trips where it’s just me or my wife, I/we sleep IN the Jeep, with the rear seats folded flat. There’s just no way to sleep flat in a Gladiator unless you’re in the bed. [/quote]
