How can it be that Edward Clarke, Montgomery County Public School Chief Safety Officer, who was the former director of the Maryland Center for School Safety, was unaware the timeline reporting requirements? https://parentscoalitionmc.blogspot.com/2022/07/breaking-unaware-of-changed-deadlines.html
Are you people really that dumb? Your title is so misleading. From the link
The Maryland Center for School Safety must be notified of any “critical, life-threatening incident” that takes place in a public school within 24 hours after the school learns of the incident. MCPS did notify the state in the proper time. However, school officials then must hold an after-action meeting and review within 45 days. This did not happen concerning the two stabbings. The review was held in the required time concerning a shooting in the bathroom of Magruder High School that left one student seriously injured.
The stabbings were reported on time, but "school officials then must hold an after-action meeting and review within 45 days".
Contact Mymcmedia and file a complaint.
Mymcmedia did create this thread. The title of this thread is misleading
How so? Did MCPS report or not?
Are you really that stupid? It's right there in the link. "MCPS did notify the state in the proper time"
Are you that stupid that you can’t read the article?MCPS didn’t hold a meeting, didn’t do an after action report and didn’t notify the Governor Under the law. Maybe you are Ed Clarke and can’t do your job.
DP but you're really the stupid one. The title of this thread says " MCPS didn't report two stabbings in time" but according to the article, they did report them on time. They did not hold the "after-action" & review within 45 days. That's different from reporting the stabbings. So yeah, the title of this is thread is clearly misleading. Either you playing dumb or you're actually that dumb to recognize that.
You're actually so stupid you didn't even read the article. The law requires reporting to the Governor too. That didn't happen on the timeline required by the law. Ed Clarke missed lots of deadlines. Pick two, pick three, pick any number. He missed them all in trying to cover up stabbings.
I agree with the pp. The title is misleading. I would think that MCPS remained silent on the issue..not that they failed to meet one of many requirements.
