Buy nice fresh (no frozen!) pre made burgers, like 85% lean, and not from Walmart or Aldi (shudders!). Buns, 2 dozen corn on cob. Boil corn, and grill burgers. And hopefully a meat eater will help. For you, you pan sautee 1/2 slab of tempeh in olive oil with very generous Old Bay on both sides, with lid on it till crispy, and put it on hamburger bun with veggie tartar sauce (like nayonaise with chopped pickles and lemon).
