OP here. I’ve been wondering if it’s my cardio and too much fat. Morning: two cups of coffee (maybe three) w whole milk. Interval sprints/walking for three miles or 30min on the peloton. 12pm: salad w roasted veggies, homemade ceasar dressing, shredded cheese, maybe a hard boiled egg or tofu 6pm dinner: whatever the family is eating. Homemade fajitas(carbs, yes), grilled sausage and zucchini for example. Tonight we ordered sushi and I had sashimi, uni, and half a cali roll. Literally that’s it. Of course is there are exceptions. 4th of July I had two slices of ice cream cake. I’m human. I guess I just have eaten like this for years and I have been 154 pounds and 5’7, a size 6. And now I woke up one day and I can’t naturally even our under 160 and sit around 164. I see what I eat and I’m like, of course I can cut down the carbs to legitimately zero. And I will if I have to. It’s just such a reasonable way to eat IMO and it’s still not “enough”. Interested in others’ opinions
I just saw this (already replied about peanut butter and importance of breakfast). Whole milk is 149 calories per cup so you're having nearly 500 calories in your coffee. 0% fat milk is 90 calories by contrast. You are putting cheese in your food and SAUSAGE which are two of the most unhealthy, high in saturated fat foods out there. Sushi is full of sugar. I think you might need to start again. Your daily calorie intake is huge.
Lol. Are you an idiot? OP is clearly not drinking 500 calories in her coffee. Why would you assume that coffee with milk = 3+ cups of whole milk a day. This is like a club for anorexics in here.
No I'm not an idiot. Are you an idiot? Have you seen a large cup of coffee and how much milk goes into it? Have you measured a "cup" of milk lately. Chances are she is in fact consuming 500 calories from her morning milk alone. That's huge. That's a whole meal. And she is left feeling hungry and thinking she's cutting back, which is simply, incorrect.
A cup is 8 oz. My coffee mugs hold about… 8 oz. If the OP is really having “a cup of coffee with whole milk,” and not a latte or cafe au lait or some other coffee-flavored milk creation, she’s filling up her mug with coffee and adding 1-2 T of milk at the most. Over the course of the morning, maybe she’s consuming a total of a cup of milk.
I'd be more interested in hearing what OP's cup contains than yours. Yours is irrelevant.
